Marinade For Steak
Preparation time: 30 mins
Cooking time: 15 mins
Serves: 4
Ingredients:
- 80 ml Safari Brown Grape Vinegar
- 80 ml soy sauce
- 60 ml canola oil
- 30 ml soft brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 5 ml Hot English mustard
- 10 ml chopped rosemary
- Salt and freshly cracked black peppercorns
- 4 x 250 g sirloin steaks
Method:
- Whisk the vinegar, soy sauce, oil, sugar, garlic and mustard together. Add the rosemary and salt and pepper to
taste. - Put the steak into a zip lock bag and add the marinade. Push out the air and seal the bag. Marinade for at least 30
minutes. Alternatively, place in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over. Turn over after 15 minutes. - Braai over hot coals until the steak is done to your liking, basting every now and again with the marinade.
- Serve with rocket, Caprese salad and chips.
